AirPods Pro

I have had my airpod pros for about a year and a half and right around a year after having them they started to have the rattling noise that many AirPod pro users are experiencing. I recently contacted them because I had seen others being able to get replacements. Then they said that because I was out of watrenty, I’d have to buy new ones. I think this is a low move considering how common this is and I was wondering if there is any way I could have them replaced anyways
