It is shutdown automatically and showing the error message-Sleep Wake failure in EFI Failure code:: 0x00000000 0x0000001f - please someone help me

Startup efi error message when waking from sleep - hack? Hello. Lately my mac (2012 MBP 13 - high sierra) shows this message really briefly when resuming from deep sleep. I was able to see what it said only by filming it and extracting a frame. My concern was that my efi have been hacked somehow, but I have nothing to support that claim, apart from persistent fan activity. Can someone tell me if it's normal? The MacBook also randomly goes off while I work on it (does this with the power cable on, as well as when its just running off the battery). Anyone understand what this means? (I'm trying to see whether repairing this 2012 MacBook Pro is worth it, or to keep the money to buy a new MacBook Air m1 / m2 instead. iMac crashes when waking up after SSD upgrade I installed a Crucial MX500 SSD in my late 2013 iMac 21.5 and for ages now whenever my Mac goes to sleep I get a kernel panic and a "sleep wake failure in EFI" I have tried disabling hibernation mode but I need to check what other settings might help as a work around?

If it is an intel Mac, you can try an SMC Reset

If that doesn’t help, post the entire panic log her in the Additional Text area (document icon).
