Am I able to map different MIDI devices to different instruments in GarageBand?

I have two MIDI keyboards and want to know if I can assign them to different instruments in GarageBand, so I can play piano with one and drums with another at the same time, for example.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

No. Garageband has no concept of MIDI channels.

You need Garageband's smarter brother, Logic.

try setting up the audio/midi app in the prefrences thats the heart of the sunrise
