Problem with airpods pro

When I open my AirPods Pro I get the dialogue “AirPods scheduled to finish charging by …” and it’s several hours from now. I’m at 82% but sometimes I watch several tv shows and listen to music and would like that extra 20%. Every single time I choose the option “Turn off until tomorrow” I close the AirPods and open them and it turns itself back on again. When I go into the AirPods settings, the feature is turned off. This really bugs me and I’m sure it’s an ongoing bug that will not let me charge the AirPods how I see fit. Is Apple aware of this bug and how the feature won’t turn off even if you tell it to turn off?

This feature is designed to reduce battery ageing, by learning from your usual charging habits in order to optimise your Airpod Pro's battery life, making them last longer.

Have you tried turning off the feature? Open the AirPods Case, and then go to Settings > Bluetooth on your iOS or iPadOS device. Tap the information button next to your AirPods Pro in the list of devices. Turn off Optimised Battery Charging.

I do like the feature but when I tell it to turn off until tomorrow it doesn’t do that. It turns itself back on again. And in the settings it’s turned off as well.

By the way, this post would only send on my iPad through Chrome browser. I tried through safari and every time I use safari to respond to these posts it always tells me to try again later. I did it the first time through Chrome and it went through immediately. I think I will no longer be using safari for anything. Too many problems with it.
