Problem with Shift key Macbook pro 2015

I stated having a problem with the shift key on my Macbook pro retina display early 2015 where it seems to be pressed down for certain functions like opening a new window in google chrome when i press back or making straight lines in photoshop but i does not seem to effect typing and works as normal for that.

i checked the key on this website : https://keyboardchecker.com/ and it came out as gray indicating there is a problem with it.

I reset the NVRam witch fixed the problem for about an hour but then it came back. I have no idea what else to do now except keep on resetting the NVRam continuously.

any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Resetting the system management controller (SMC) can resolve certain issues related to power, battery, fans, and other features.

Startup in Safe mode. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201262 Choose the appropriate method.

To leave Safe Mode, choose “Restart” at the bottom.

Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software when it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS,

and fonts not installed by macOS. It also does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility.

And it deletes some system caches, including font caches and the kernel cache,

which will be created again automatically as needed.

I tried both and the both work temporarily but the problem reoccurs after a few hours to few days. I tried reinstalling my system and restoring from a backup as well but the same thing happened. I also tried upgrading my system from 13.6 to 14.6 but when i did that, the issue came back and started effecting typing as well. (capitalizing everything) so i restored back to 13.6 and thats where i am now.
