Apple pencil notes show as unsupported Attachment in Mac OS Sierra

Thank you for the reply. This is not what I was trying to check actually.....Let me put it this way. I use apple pencil to make notes on the iPad. Now once the notes are prepared, I wanted to view the same on my Macbook Air 2010 which gets synced. When I open the Notes app on my Macbook Air 2010 it does not show the note that I had made using the apple pencil. Instead it gives error as "Unsupported Attachment".
