My adapter is getting so hot
My iphone isn’t that old, so I don’t understand why my adapter is getting so hot.

Is this a genuine Apple adapter? Some third-party adapters may not have health and safety precautions.
It is normal for the charger to get a little hot after charging for a while, but it shouldn't be too bad or anything which could burn your hand. If it is like this, I'd advise you to stop charging immediately and look at purchasing a new adapter from Apple Store
