Cant I display my MacBook Pro on a windows laptop with a broken screen?

I got a broken screen on my MBP, since the sidecar isn’t working and I can’t see a thing on my screen, I’m wondering if I can connect my MBP to a windows laptop n display my MBP on that laptop, so can anybody tell me if that’s possible?

Hi there JD_956!

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you are trying to connect your MacBook Pro to a Windows computer to be able to see the display since your Mac's screen is broken. We have some tips that may help.

While you can share files from your MacBook Pro to your Windows computer: Connect to a Mac from a Windows computer using the Windows computer as an external display isn't an option.

However, you can connect a display or an AirPlay 2–enabled smart TV to your MacBook and this will allow you to see the screen. Look here for steps: Connect a display to your Mac

Use your TV as a display with Mac
