Britbox not playing on existing subscription via Apple TV app

I have a subscription to Britbox via the Apple TV app. I have had intermittent errors over the last few months, but it’s persisted over the last week. I’m unable to play any content on Britbox even though my subscription is up-to-date. If I click a show, I’m prompted to download the app and start a subscription. But of course, I already have one so this prompt is just annoying. And I don’t want to start a separate subscription via Britbox. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're being prompted to subscribe to a service you already have a subscription to, so we'd like to help. Make sure that you're signed in using the same Apple ID that was used to start the subscription. If you're already signed in with that Apple ID, contact Britbox to confirm there aren't any issues on their end.
