iphone and applie ID hijacked

someone hijacked my apple ID and changed phone # associated with account. i created a new account but my watch is still associated with old hijacked apple ID. and i cant reset without password or hijacked phone number. i think I'm SOL. any ideas??? (i have a new phone and apple ID and that part is fine.. but i cant use my watch without unpairing it from old phone and repairing with new phone (and apple ID))

Something to try. If you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID  if provided the required paperwork. 


Request additional support for unlocking your device


Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened). Call the store before going to make sure they can help.

If you can't access your iPhone or Apple Watch, or if your Apple Watch isn't paired with your iPhone and you need to turn off Activation Lock:


  1. On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID. 
  2. Go to Find My iPhone.
  3. Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.
  4. Click Erase Apple Watch. Select Next until the device is erased.
  5. Click the remove button  next to your Apple Watch.

thanks but here is the issue. My ipad was stolen and they reset my password and changed the phone number. i woke up to all the changes. The issue is my iwatch is associated with my old apple ID that i dont have access to anymore and when i called Apple they said they couldnt change it just lock it. so i think i have to get a new watch? which just sucks..
