Pages and numbers crashing

Pages and numbers crashes every time I try to open a document on 2020 MacBook Pro. Have tried re-installing the apps, re-starting computer... nothing works. Help!

Hi alb2495,

What version of macOS are you using?

This has ben a frequently reported issue, and seems to involve recent but not current) version(s) of Big Sur.

The suggested solution, assuming the linked discussion is about the same issue, is to update your macOS to the most recent version (11.4 at the time of writing this), which has been reported to have cured the issue with all three applications..

I've updated my macbook to Big Sur version 11.4, and I can confirm that the problems are solved!
