I bought a Mac mini for a friend of mine and applied for AppleCare for the computer. It registered my name automatically, how do I transfer it to my friend’s name?

Transfer your AppleCare plan to a new owner
- Sign in to My Support to get the AppleCare agreement number, the serial number of the device, and the proof of coverage for the AppleCare plan.
- Find the original sales receipt for the device.
- Get the new owner’s name, address, email address, and phone number.
- Contact Apple Support.
