Not only my iPhone but also my iPad can't play the music with the Lossless label in the Alarm. If I set the music without the Lossless label, the alarm can go off.

i have found a temporary fix for those still wanting to get up to your favourite tune :)
mine works now. As I have said, it’s temporary because I hope Apple makes Alarm play high res. If not, I usually skip the alarm song anyway :))) Once a day is enough for Shawn Mendez and Camilla :))))

I went to my playlist and tapped the “checkmark” that tells you if the music is downloaded and i pressed remove all downloads(the songs will stay in the playlist) and hit the download button again and it worked. I recommend making a playlist with the songs and then un-download them and re-download them.
This is absolutely crazy to me! It’s an issue for almost a year now and Apple hasn’t done anything? I was late for work thanks to this little bug! I switched from Android because I wanted a phone and ecosystem that “just worked” and got this suprise in the first month…lol.
Same here, i have no idea why some song (album) can and some can't
obviously there's bug and I am shocked that specialist deny it
3 months! Still not yet fixed the bug
I also had to disable “Download in Dolby Atmos” in addition to setting Lossless Audio downloads to High Quality. Ridiculous Apple! Get any iOS apps that use music to work with these codecs. Thanks

I have still the same issues. On IOS 15.0.1! The alarm even play the Radar sound. So be careful! They will not wake you up!!
**** Apple, its justve ben more than 5 Months now.
This is still an issue with iOS 15.0.2. It’s also something that the Apple techs didn’t know about.

The download "Dolby Atmos" has to be turned off too.
And the music will be played.
