Tingling issue while charging MacBook Air, multimeter indicating 99.8V AC.

I was experiencing tingling issue while charging MacBook Air M1. On checking it with tester I found its bulb was glowing. On checking it with multimeter I found the voltage to be around 100V. Including pics also. Are there anyone who is experiencing the same. The charger provided by MacBook Air has two pin no third earth pin is available.

You may very well have a ground fault issue on your mains

which can be causing such issues. I have run into this

in the past with various other types of equipment and

mains wiring in the building. I have even measured grounds

between outlets on one side of a room and another and

and found as high as a 120V differential between grounds.

This is especially possible in an apartment environment where

3 phase powering enters the building. While not intuitively

obvious, it can affect two wire AC connections.

I have done the same test as you have and have found no

issue.
