I purchased some airtags to put onto many things, I am wanting to share the family members like we do for location but I cannot find where to share. Please help

"An AirTag can be associated with one Apple ID. If you want to use an AirTag that someone else has used, they need to remove the AirTag from their Apple ID first. If the previous user removed the AirTag from their Apple ID but they were out of Bluetooth range of the AirTag, then you need to reset it before you can use it with your devices."
That will be square one right, for finding things.. need to find wife first :)
Please apple update! This feature would so use useful for my partner and I. We bought these to move away from Tile (as someone else mentioned!) but this sharing feature kinda make this pointless…

It would be so much useful to share it with Family Members, I bought it for a ski trip with my family, to track the kids.
I guess I’ll have to ask my husband where the kids are LOL
Agreed. My kid uses my car and all his friends get alerts like I’m stalking them. Useless!

Apple doesn't read here for suggestions or feedback.
I'm sure that's the "official" company line, but we should all know better. The *Apple recommended* "solution" above also says otherwise.
