creating new folders in outlook

I am now having problems creating new folders in Outlook. I'm up to date on all mac updates. Is anyone having the same issue? I can no longer right click and add another folder. How have you resolved it. Thank you.

Can't say I've ever seen that one.

Whether you're using Office 2019 or 365, close all of the Office apps down and put them in the trash. Reinstall the suite from scratch. You can get the full installer here:

No problem here. I can right click on Inbox and choose New Folder to create a subfolder there. Or on my email address and choose New Folder so it's created outside of the Inbox and its default subfolders.

Yes. You're only putting the main apps in the Applications folder in the trash. All of your personal data is outside of that. Such as, your email data is in your user account folder at ~/Library/Group Containers/. When Outlook is reinstalled, it will pick up everything since that's where it looks for that data by default.
