Apple TV 4K on 2009 Philips TV?

I have an older (2009) Philips LCD TV and I bought the newest Apple TV 4K. It won't display on this TV (yet it works fine on my newer LG TV)! Does anyone know what I can do about this? I've got the newest tvOS software on it and I've tried all the HDMI ports on the TV as well as different HDMI cables. The TV model number is 32PFL3504D. Thanks, everyone.

That TV has max resolution of 720P.

You may need to force the Apple TV to 720P. Not sure the newest Apple TVs support that though.

Use the remote to switch resolutions until it gets valid video settings.

If your Apple TV doesn't turn on - Apple Support

• If you see the Apple logo and then a black screen, hold Menu and Volume Down for 5 seconds, then release. Your Apple TV will switch to a new resolution every 20 seconds. Select OK to choose a resolution or Cancel to quit.
