Apple Music without Internet Connection

My daughter will be at Summer Camp for several weeks and will not have internet access. If we download songs to her iPod Touch from Apple Music, can she listen to them all Summer, or will they “expire” without connecting to her computer, phone or the internet?

I know purchased songs will remain, but what about ones downloaded from the subscription service?

Hi swiviott,

We understand you have questions about accessing Apple Music without an internet connection. We're happy to help.

If you're going to be in an area that does not have internet access, you'll need to download the song files from the Apple Music catalog directly to your device. You can use these steps to download music to your device for offline play: Add and download music from Apple Music

Just like with streaming on Apple Music, you can listen to downloaded songs as much as you want as well. There's no "play limit" or anything like that, that would prevent the song from playing. Plays are unlimited with the Apple Music service, regardless of if you are streaming the item or have the file downloaded directly to your device.

We hope this helps. Cheers!
