iPhone 12 low lock sound.

Recently upgraded to iPhone 12 from iPhone XS. The lock sound on iphone 12 is very low as compared to XS. Tried everything like disabling ‘change with buttons’ and bringing volume to maximum but issue persists. Sound is consistent but low. Other sounds like speaker, keypad typing, ringtone and notifications are all OK. Not using any MagSafe case etc.

Can anyone help with the fix?

Open Control Center and see where the volume slider is set. To do so, from the top right hand corner of your screen, swipe down. This opens Control Center. See the volume slider. Adjust higher as needed.
