Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I open the music app for the first time after switching on the Mac, there will be a loud "Beep" sound suddenly. This always occurs when I am playing lossless music. Is it a bug or something else? Thank you.

I have the same problem.
I restarted my Mac many times but there's not differences. I use the internal speaker of the Mac and the AirPods Pro but the Beep noise is still there. I don't download music I only listen in streaming.
The beep noise occur when I play a lossless song jumping from another song (lossless or not doesent matter), sometime even I restart the same lossless song.

Turning Sound Enhancer off works. Looking forward to it actually being fixed.
I found that turning Sound Enhancer takes away the loud beep, but there's still some static when you start the song.
It won't rupture your eardrum but there's still an issue.
Has this been patched/fixed at all?
Do we still need to turn off sound enhancer?
It has NOT been fixed.
For me it's not happening anymore, even if I haven't changed anything in the Music settings.
May be one of the Mac OS updates fixed the issue.
Are you getting static in the first 3 seconds of the song?
I am.
I tested it again and have not been able to reproduce problem. They may have patched it in the latest OS
