CNBC app not in Settings

I can’t open the CNBC live feed in its app, as it is not appearing along with the other apps under TV PROVIDER in the Settings menu(DirecTV). It doesn’t show up in the option of additional apps to manually add to the provider either. I have to open up the DirecTV app, load up the channel guide, then go to CNBC to get a live feed.

Salutations exuct78,

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Apple Support Communities! It seems that you are not seeing a the CNBC app in the Settings of your iPhone. We will be honored to assist you! We see that you have used the self-help resource “ Sign in with your TV provider on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch ”. Please review the information below:

If your TV provider is supported:

“ You can sign in with your TV provider in Settings or the first time you use a supported app. After you sign in, any other supported app automatically signs you in so you don't need to enter your information again. If your TV provider has its own app, your device might automatically download it after you sign in.”

This is normal behavior for non-supported TV providers:

“ *If your TV provider supports signing in with your TV provider, then you'll be prompted to enter your username and password for your TV provider. If your TV provider doesn't support signing in with your TV provider, your TV provider is saved so you don’t have to select it again, but you’ll still need to sign in to each app with your TV provider account information. “

Have a good day!
