Apple Music offline stops intermittently

I tried to uninstall and redownload the Apple Music app twice now and I’ve redownloaded all of my music twice. I am still having the same issue. It’s getting under my skin. Where I live we don’t have service and the fact that I can’t listen to my music because I am not in service is ridiculous.

So after trying all the fixes of deleting and redownloading, etc and nothing working I reverted to Spotify. After 3 months with Apple Music I had forgotten how much better the Spotify experience is; ability to seamlessly switch music from phone to Echo device, to home stereo receiver, better curated playlists (IMO), my partner can add music to the queue while listening, and a much better PC app (the iTunes app on a PC is a huge resource hog). And of course, I can now listen to music again whilst not connected to the Interwebs. Granted the playlist curation is a personal taste, but the rest are just better functionality/usability.

Thanks Arnold.lax it seems to have worked for me. Followed all your tips and I has music playing for 40 mins without stopping.

I too am experiencing this. I recently switched from Spotify to Apple Music and this is driving me nuts. I'm contemplating switching back.

Looks like IOS 14.7 addresses the stopping issue. We’ll see..

Just updated, so far so good.

I was close to this also but iOS 14.7 fixed the issue.
