Bugs

when I go to settings>icloud>Manage Storage>backups the image that usually shows your device isn’t there. Anyone know how to fix this? I even backed up erased and restored without using the backup. Yet even setting up as knew the problem persists. On the backup screen there is a empty icon box and iCloud storage page where there used to be a picture of my iPhone there is nothing at all.

Alpha_nerd_,

If you sign into the iCloud website using a computer, does your iPhone show up under the account settings section? iCloud

If so, does it show a date for the last backup after clicking on your iPhone?

Do you use any VPN or security apps with your iPhone? We ask to make sure they aren't causing a networking conflict during the backup process.

Is your iPhone all up-to-date? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Are you able to successfully back up your iPhone using a computer? Back up iPhone

Cheers.

Hello Alpha_nerd_,

Thanks for reaching out through the Apple Support Communities about those conflicting details concerning your iCloud backup.

Does that behavior still persist while your iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network?

How about if you attempt to create a new iCloud backup while connected to Wi-Fi?

Also, do you use any other devices with iCloud? If so, do they reflect the same information concerning that backup for your iPhone?

Hopefully those details will help to further isolate and address this behavior. Take care.
