ituneshelper.exe windows

Hi,

in my Windows 10 system, I noted there is a problem with ituneshelper.exe; even if I try to launch it manually, ituneshelper.exe doesn't work and I cannot see it running (using task manager). Itunes is updated to the last version, as well as Windows. I have this problem in both my two Windows systems.

Hi there, g.alteri!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having an issue launching iTunes on your PC. To begin, check for the setting to "Open iTunes when this [device] is connected" within iTunes.

- Select the device icon in the upper-left of iTunes.

- Go to the iPhone Summary page

- Locate the "Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected" option and make sure it is selected.

If you don't have that option or it's already selected, you could remove all iTunes components and reinstall. This is a bit different than just uninstalling iTunes by itself. Use the steps here: Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later

Let us know the results and have a great day!
