Updating to 11.4

I am running 11.3.1 and trying to update 11.4. The update fails every time I try. It gets to the "preparing" stage when it fails. I have restarted....I have plenty of space and a fast connection. I am on a 2017 iMac.

Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?

Try installing this in Safe Mode...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup).

Now in About this Mac, if you click on the 11.4 does it say build 20F71?
