HomePod mini stereo?

I had a thought about adding two HomePod minis to a Mac set-up as the Mac's external stereo speakers - I realize the sound is 360 degrees all around the HomePod minis.

Can two HomePod minis do this?

You can AirPlay to two stereo paired Mini’s. Update the Mac to Big Sur if you can so they show as a pair, otherwise you can still play to both but they won’t show as paired,
