How to choose different date on header for each page?

Hi, my apple friends! I'm a beginner for Pages, and need someone's help.

I'm writing some meeting minutes with Pages, different date in the same file.

my first page was created on June 11, 2021. but when I change my second page date to June 25, 2021.

the first page date changed to June 25, 2021 automatically.

I wonder if there is anyway can keep header as different date on different page?

thank you!

Hi toga86,

"Header" is short for "running header" a piece of text that remaine the dame on each page.

Paes Headers are Section headers, and remain constant for all pages in a Section.

If you want to use a header box to hold what is essentially a date stamp, then you need to put each set of inutes into a separate Section of the Document,

The easiest way to do this is to Insert a Section break at the end of each set of minutes and set the new section (starting on the next page) to not Match precious section.

With those settings, you will be able to place the new date into the hrader box on the new set of minutes without affecting the date(s) on earier sets in the same document.

Barry
