Wondering if this is security issue or whst because a Profile indicator, which never there before, appeared in Sustem Pref and shows iMovie_27_Sep
. I changed my password because also noticed my apple ID being used in NYT app which i would never do.
Is this Provisioning profile legit?

The provisioning profile is legit and is of no consequence. It has nothing to do with any hacking. I would just ignore it. Here's an article about it:

I don't know whether anyone else will chime in who has specific knowledge of the Provisioning Profile subject. I have seen a couple of posts from people on the subject, but they were just curious inquiries and nobody complained of any adverse issues. That might explain why there haven't been any Apple articles about it (of which I am aware).
If you would post back, II would be very interested what the Apple Support techs have to say about it, particularly if they raise any danger issues.

Thing is, i only trust Apple articles and not macmule or any other site. I researched and other mac included websites said the iMovie profile was a hacking and to delete it! Thats why im here on apple discussion
