Why can’t I send iMessages via WiFi sending MMS message??. I’m on my WiFi with full bars and working great.
I have selected:
SETTINGS- iMessage - send MMS toggle IS ONI
SMS toggle IS NOT TOGGLED ON
I’m on great WiFi, full bars. I don’t have data plan but I’m trying to send via WiFi???
Cellular data is off.

iMessage can use Wi-Fi, but MMS cannot. MMS is a carrier service, and your carrier doesn’t know anything about your Wi-Fi connection. So you must have cellular data ON to use MMS.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you are unable to send MMS messages and you do not have cellular service. SMS and MMS messages are sent through your phone service, so you do need to have a text messaging plan to send SMS and MMS messages. Learn more here: About iMessage and SMS/MMS.
