MBP fan running continuously - MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

Third party software like Symantec can cause this kind of a problem.

Ask your admin to remove the software as a test if possible.

Startup in Safe mode. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201262 Choose the appropriate method.

To leave Safe Mode, choose “Restart” at the bottom.

If admin allows, run EtreCheck and read the report.

I tried SMC reset multiple times, no luck. Yes, uninstall the offending app.

Typically third party Anti-Virus does nothing but add issues and compete directly with Apple’s® own built in Security:

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus/VPN
