Unable to check Media Sharing box in System Preferences since upgrade to Big Sur 11.4
I recently upgraded to MacOS Big Sur 11.4, and I've been having huge problems with the Music app, TV app, connecting my iPhone, and Home Sharing ever since. I'm on a Mac Mini (late 2014). (Waiting for the higher end new Mac Mini with much more RAM before I consider upgrading!)
When I open System Preferences>Sharing, Media Sharing is included in the list of items in the left column, but unlike every other option (File Sharing, Printer Sharing, etc.), it doesn't show me any description when I highlight the line item, and it won't allow me to check the box.
I've also noticed that if I have Force Quit Applications open when I try clicking on Media Sharing in the System Preferences>Sharing window, Media Sharing will show up in the Force Quit Applications window as a separate application line item to System Preferences. The full title displayed is "Media Sharing (com.apple.preferences.sharing.remoteservice (System Preferences))" and the font is colored red. Force quitting that item affects the System Preferences window - it ejects me from System Preferences>Sharing into the main System Preferences window and pops up a "Preferences Error" dialogue box that says "Preferences Error There was an error in Sharing preferences. [OK]"
I've already tried restarting multiple times and even just reinstalled MacOS Big Sur 11.4 but nothing has made any difference.
