Apple Watch won't charge and I can't do a hard reset

A few weeks ago my Apple Watch Series 5 randomly stopped being able to be charged. I couldn't turn it on or do a hard reset, and every time I tried to charge the watch, nothing would happen except it would just get hot with the charging cable. I thought it was just broken but yesterday, I just happened to wear it anyways and it literally just turned on by itself with 1% of battery left. The screen was showing and everything and then it died and now I'm back to square one again. I have tried using another charging cable, but it's the same case.
