Apple Watch sleep alarm

So before the new update, I always slept with my Apple Watch on at night. I had no issues with the watch vibrating when it was time to wake up while the sound still went off on my phone. It was nice.

However, it’s now saying that it will only go off on my watch and no sound goes off, which is a big problem because I don’t wake up to it.

I don’t want to have to stop wearing it at night because I like to keep track of how I’m sleeping. But it seems like that’s the only option. Is there any way to change this? I’ve looked through every setting I could possibly think of.

Hi Carley2121,

Given more meaning on your goal, it appears that the iPhone will no longer sound the alarm when you wear your Apple Watch to bed. According to the screenshot provided, we'd say this is expected behavior. If you wish an alarm to go off on your iPhone instead, you can schedule an alarm using the Clock app instead of using the Sleep Schedule.

If you'd like to report this concern or feature request directly to Apple, we'd suggest using the following page: Product Feedback

Wishing you the best, cheers!

Welcome Carley2121,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, the alarm for your Sleep Schedule isn't working on your Apple Watch. We'll do our best to assist.

Does the alarm show up on your Apple Watch? This can help you check: Add an alarm on Apple Watch

Try to go to the Watch app on your paired iPhone, tap 'My Watch', tap 'Clock', then turn on Push Alerts from iPhone.

Test it out and that should resolve this issue for you.

Hoping this helps out, take care!
