Why does voice over keep turning on on my Apple TV?

Suddenly, the voice over function goes on on my Apple TV without me changing the settings. In fact, when I go to Settings it’s off, even though it’s in action when I’m watching a streaming program.

This is very annoying. How do I make it stop?

The scene describing voice during programs is named Audio Descriptions, and that is a different functionality than VoiceOver.

Audio Descriptions is a separate audio track, when available. You can select a different non-AD track during playback.

Turn Audio Descriptions on or off on your Apple TV - Apple Support (default for new videos)

Change subtitles or languages for videos in the Apple TV app or iTunes Store - Apple Support (during playback)
