HSV not recording or sending notifications.

I do not see that status change throughout the day.

what I have been able to narrow it down to is alert settings. If I set notification for specific motion or record on specific motion, the camera will not notify or record.

mid I set notification and recording to ALL motion, I have successfully been able to get the camera to record after motion detection.

I’ve tried toggling notifications to specific and recording to all, and that still allows recording, but I get no notifications of motion.

something odd with the granular motion type notifications that disables all detection for some reason.

One more response. See screenshot below from home app. The AppleTVs are all 4K models with the ‘living room’ being the newest ATV. Not sure why these including the HomePods are all in standby mode and only the iPad is connected. Should ALL HomeKit hubs always be connected ? When the ATV is in sleep mode or standby I presume it still functions as an active HomeKit hub. (Ignore the one that’s marked disconnected. It’s unplugged)

I’ll start by clarifying that I have done a lot with HomeKit already so I’m very familiar with how to get items working.

With that said, yes, I have followed all those instructions. I’ve also removed and added devices down to one at a time from 3 different manufacturers, and still no luck. Same no matter if I have 1 or 9 running.

if I use them outside HomeKit they work fine. Notifications come through from eufy, I can set recording and alert options there and they all work. Logitech doorbell doesn’t have a native app, so can’t test that but same holds true with onvis as well. The cameras all function and capture motion outside of the Home app just fine.
