Open Old Mac Mail ??

I have emails from 2004 that need to be opened again in my email but they won't open with the current email programs and Catalina. Is there any Apple app that will open these old mails? Thank you.

Mac Mail problem Mail on my MacBook Pro: the inbox deletes, or doesn't save, any messages over 3 or 4 weeks old. I also have an old MacBook (OS10.6.8) which uses Microsoft Entourage for emails, which remain forever if you want them to. So I'm still using the old MacBook for emails, which is ok, but if it dies how do I retrieve emails on the new one? Any ideas?

Setting up mac mini for the first time and it erased all of my emails Re Mac mini 2020 running Catalina Just purchased the mini and migrated files from another mac. I set up the non apple email account and once it connected it erased all of the emails from the server for some reason. This has never happened to me before and I have migrated a lot of old macs to new ones. Is there any way to get copies of these emails from the back up that I made prior to migration?

Pro(?) question: How to (manually) restore my old E-Mails for Apple Mail I'm using Apple Mail since 2002 and therefore my email history goes back until that time. Purchased a new iMac and want to make a clean new setup incl. manually copying my files. (I don't want Time Machine Backup restored.) HOW in god's name is it possible to restore Apple Mail??? It used to be a 20min task by manually copying all the related files from ~/Library to the new computer... ...start Mail and it looked the way it looked before. Now in Catalina all I get is an empty Mail NO MATTER WHAT I do: I tried to Google WHICH folders Apple Mail requires in order to work properly, but I only get tons of nonsense websites describing how to use Time Machine and other stuff that doesn't even come close to my question. Any thoughts here in the Apple Community? Thank you!

Seems like they should open. I have old emails from 2007 and no issue opening using Apple mail. I'm using Big Sur and mail 14.0.
