Any way to make Motion NOT check/rebuild plugins list installed for use in FCP?

FCP seems OK with my installing lots of plugins for use in FCP. However, the time it takes Motion to start increases dramatically the more plugins I install for FCP. Motion lists the plugins in a column on the left in the Project Browser. I suspect that every time Motion starts it checks or rebuilds the list of categories/plugins on the left, resulting in substantial delay. Is there any way to make Motion NOT see, check, rebuild — whatever — the plugins list installed for FCP?

Go into Preferences > Project. In the section: "For New Documents", select the Use Project... option, then choose a default starting template. Set up a Blank Motion Project with a default Preset setting you want:

Starting a new project will open up a blank project directly and skip the choose from browser option.

Should save you some time...
