I'm using Safari on Big Sur for my main browser. Lately, when I click on a link for Twitter in Safari it opens the Twitter application which I don't want. It used to open the link in a Safari tab or window instead. How can I reset links to Twitter to launch as a Safari tab or window, not open the Twitter application?

Have you tried control - clicking on the link and then selecting Open in new tab or Open in new window?
I have, thanks Eric. It's also happening now in my Messages app. Just started in both Messages and Safari in the past week or so. Next step is to uninstall Twitter.
