Hi,
I have an iphone 12 pro and i accidentally dropped it to the street while out biking.
I have AppleCare so I thought it wasnt an issue.
trying to repair it, I am told that this is considered “cosmetic” and therefore not covered by AppleCare.
the issue however is that the scratches has made the case really sharp, to the extent that I got cuts from holding the device.
anyone else experienced this?
Do you have AppleCare or did you buy AppleCare +?
My phone is in a case so I've never experienced that. You can either put it in a case or carefully take off the sharp edges yourself.
If the phone stops working (and given it fell that hard that may well be within your future) you can use one of your two incidents of damage. In the meantime get a case.
