Hi. The share ETA function from Apple maps, only works for selected contacts.
It works to those with an SMS icon next to ther number.
It doesn't send an ETA to those with a map icon next to their number.
I am thinking it doesn't work for my contacts who have an iphone.
My iphone X has iOS 14.6 installed.
Hi. When I share my location with my contacts with the small map (as your contact Radhika has), they don't receive the notification. The "tap to stop" wording does not dissapear.
The contacts on my phone with the samll map icon all have iphones.
As a test, yesterday I sent the notification to a freind standing next to me.
He received 1 notification- I sent it 4 seperate times over 20 mins.
No, no there is no such issue on my device with iOS14.6. What makes you think it doesn't work with people using iOS devices.
