Minimized Web Browser Pages in Dock

The answer in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252372320?answerId=254477503022#254477503022 does not work (for me).

Has anyone else discovered a work around?

Chrome pages, MS Edge and Safari

I do not want them there, squeezing out and making my Application icons too tiny.

Why are you minimising web browser windows when you don't like the clutter in your Dock.

System Preferences> Dock gives you the option to either minimise to the Dock or to the application icon.

Or you could open your browser windows in tabs, see the web browsers preferences.

Or any web pages you want to refer back to you could add them to the Reading List.

Click on Bookmarks in the menubar and click on Add to Reading List.

You have macOS.

You have a number of Safari windows open.

You wish to have fewer or no (added) windows open, and preferably no windows in the rightmost part of the dock.

These Safari windows happen when you open wensites in new windows, and when that window is then minimized.

For details on how to avoid opening a new browser window for each web page, and which entirely avoids loading up the Dock with Safari windows, click or tap on the following blue-text link > Use tabs for webpages in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

This link shows how to use Safari tabs, which means you can have one Safari window open. And should you minimize that, it won’t go into the rightmost section of the Dock.

There is a setting for the most recent applications in the Dock preferences, though that will effect all apps. And that won’t alter opening websites in windows, rather than opening websites in tabs. Click or tap for details > Open recently used items on Mac - Apple Support

I don't want them there at all.

They are useless clutter.

The Dock is too small to manage minimized webpages.

The Dock is for my Applications. Maybe a second "Dock" for those pesky minimized webpages.

I just manually weeded out a dozen. Some were quite old. Maybe like when the mouse goes away and I have to power button shut down, to restart.

I have 21 minimized pages to go- either Bookmark or save in a spreadsheet. For those that aren't already.

Nuisance.

Ah, sorry. I hadn’t realized that there was a fixed requirement for creating new windows for each website, and that no alternatives and no workarounds to one-site-per-window was permissible. My bad. Ignore my suggestions to change approaches. Sorry.
