Apple asks for a security code on a Visa that I no longer have. I have tried to use a new Visa card but this Apple doesn't recognize.

Apple won't accept a new Visa card.

You need to remove the old card from your payment list and add the new card. Follow the instructions provided in the Related Article link at the tope of this page.

Sorry for the bother. My husband (David Fahey) sent the message from HIS computer. We were trying to figure out how to sign up for Apple TV to watch Ted Lasso. We decided things got too complicated so we aren’t going to pursue the matter further for now. Thanks so much for your help though.
