I'm trying to sync music on my MacBook (Catalina) to my iPhone, but I get an error message "Sync session failed to start."

Syncing iPhone with Finder hangs in Catalina My iPhone 8 stopped synchronizing through wifi. Sync Music I have Apple Music. Suddenly my iMac won't sync with my iPhone. Sync is selected on my phone. When I go to Preferences on the Mac, the Sync Library is checked, but grayed and I can't change it. Anybody know what this means?

Looks like you are having some trouble with getting your iPhone to sync with your MacBook. We want to help get that issue resolved! Do you see any error number included with that error message? If so there are many articles such as this that can directly address it: If you see error -5000, -69, 13010, or 13014 when you sync music from your Mac.
