What is iPad 7th maximum wattage/charger output supported?

Hi!

I had an iPad 7th purchased in Singapore Apple Store to support my government works, it comes with a 10w charger in its box which is really slow that quite annoying, I'm seeking a faster charger so I would like to ask what's the maximum wattage(supported output) for this model?

*I heard it only supporting 12w max but not so sure,12w is still slow and take me about 4h or more to fully charge the device

Regard.

iPad, iPadOS 14

There is no real maximum wattage supported, however there is a maximum wattage where it won’t charge any faster with any more wattage.

You can use 95watt charger if you really want to, but past 18 or 20 watts, you won’t see any further charge speed increase.

The battery cannot be overcharged and no damage will come to the iPad.

The base model iPads, like the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th generations DO NOT support fast charging, at all!

You can purchase the Apple 12 W power/charging adapter block to charge that iPad.

You could purchase the Apple 20W power/charging adapter block ( as well as purchasing an Apple USB-C to Lightning power/charging cable ), but your 7th gen iPad will only charge to its maximum rate of 12W, or a little more and that is it.

The 7th gen iPad will never charge anywhere near the 20W charging capacity of that 20W adapter.

Sorry.

Your iPad 7th gen may charge somewhat faster IF you toggle OFF WiFi and Bluetooth when NOT using the iPad while charging.

Sorry & Best of Luck to You!
