HP WiFi printer prints huge print from email & photos

When I setup my printer, it was fine. Suddenly it started printing emails in a huge print. I use AirPrint. I use HPSmart. It does this from both android and iOS. At this point, my recommendation is never purchase an HP printer. Sadly, my desktop PC is HP and it, too, has this problem. Complex workaround is to cut/paste into Word. But this printer was too expensive for this nonsense. Any help would be appreciated. Printing from my iPhone has become too difficult.
