If you're still having problems with Big Sur downloading and installing try going to the App Store, search for Big Sur and download from there. You can do this from the Safe Mode as Tesserax suggested.
Apologies. It is 2015 model. Stated on my question. Just the issue is on the white spinning wheel. I don’t have any space issue and the installation is already about 6 hours plus. Should I press the power button longer to force restart or is there any other alternative you can advise?
Which exact model is your MacBook Air and what version of macOS is it running currently?
Hello. Currently with El Capitan. As for model, sorry I don’t quite remember the details about it.
You would need, at least, a Mid 2013 MacBook Air for it to support running macOS Big Sur.
Thank you so much. I will try as per the suggested.
Thank you so much. Both you and Tesserax very helpful.
