Macbook pro mid 2012 capability

Is my Macbook pro mid 2012 (with or without) able to handle the type of 1080 hp video editing like how someone like coryxkenshin does on his channel?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Why not 4k video editing? I don't think this would be a a choice for state of the art professional work, but you can get by.
