Are you getting an error that your iPhone storage is full?

If so, purchasing additional iCloud storage will not help: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206504

If your iPhone storage is low, you need to delete stuff.

You can’t purchase more storage for your iPhone; it will never have more storage than it did when you bought it. You probably purchased iCloud storage, which is used for syncing and backing up. See→What's the difference between device storage and iCloud storage? - Apple Support
