My Apple TV 3rd Generation will not allow me to change Network Password
I’ve tried this from another discussion “After you changed the Wi-Fi password on your router, the Apple TV would notice that by getting disconnected.
Settings﹥Network﹥Wi-Fi﹥Not Connected
Trying to re-connect to the same network name (SSID) would result in a failed try, followed by an endless spinner.
After a restart, then choosing
Settings﹥Network﹥Wi-Fi﹥Not Connected﹥Other…
You would be asked for the network name. Enter it.
It would try to connect with the memorized password, but fail again.”……..BUT it won’t ask me to enter a new password.
It also doesn’t allow me the option to “forget this network” so I can re-enter my wifi network with my new password.
I’ve also tried resetting and restoring factory setting with no success.
When I’ve tried a Ethernet connection, nothing comes up on the screen, (yes! I did check my input settings) no Apple TV basic menu, etc. Is my Apple TV 3rd Generation dead?
