"No network connection--please check your internet connection"?

Does anyone get the annoying pop up now and then in the top right hand corner stating " No network connection--please check your internet connection"?

Mine is hardwired to my router, changed the cable etc. My internet never drops as it's running at 1GB. It only happens every so often and I'm not sure why. Tried changing different DNS's etc but it still occurs and I've no idea why! I've disconnected my Ethernet cable which again I've changed now 3 times but it comes back when I'm hardwired and not when I'm connected to WiFi. I don't get it. Is this a bug?

Since you have the 2nd Gen ATV, I never saw this issue with mine. I just didn't like the flapping of the Ethernet interface going up/down because the Cisco switch would log each event. Make sure you have at least a Cat 5e or Cat 6 Ethernet cable. Also, next time it happens, look at your router interface port status and/or check the LED port for a solid link light where your ATV is connected.
